Levinia, a blitzle with a burned leg, limped through the barren snow. Ash followed her trail, leaving dents in the white mist. She sighed, desperate for a friend.

Dusk was an Umbreon that had abandoned her pack to live on her own. She had her reasons: She wanted freedom and to do what she wanted to do without being controlled by a higher power. However, she had gotten lost, and was now aimlessly wandering the snowy plains. That is, until she could make out another Pokemon in the distance.

Levinia frowned, remembering her past. The fiery rage of her Rapidah mother burning her in the leg, therefore, there and then, sealing her fate as never being able to be a racehorse. She had ran away immediately, with stingy tears glazed on her face. Her mother knew how she had loved running around the meadow, but in one mistake, she had taken it in a hoove and crashed her dreams.
Now, as she looked up and blinked away snow that was beginning to accumulate on her face, she noticed a wandering Pokemon in the distance, looking right at her. She was still a way off, in the thick haze that surrounded her.
She tried to pick up her pace, limping. When she had ran away a few days earlier, she had made the decision to train herself to run. Even if she would only be able to reach a small trot, it was something.

Dusk stood still, squinting, trying to make out what kind of Pokemon was in front of her, when she realized that whatever it was was picking up speed- not much, but still- going faster. She nodded and began to break into a jog. I think that Pokemon's injured...! Dusk picked up speed again and broke into a run. She wanted to help if she could.

Levinia watched with envy as the pokemon sped up, going faster than she would ever be able to run even if she did manage to train harder. She shook her thoughts away and kept limping in the pokemon's direction.
Finally, the pokemon began to take shape. As she looked at it, still quite a ways away, she guessed it was an eeveelution.

As she grew closer, Dusk was able to tell that she was running towards a Blitzle, but there was something... off. Dusk thought Blitzle were really fast runners, and this one was going slowly. There must be something wrong with one of its legs... She tried to speed up, but her body wouldn't let her go any faster.
She felt desperate to reach the poor thing now.

Finally, Levinia saw it. She had been right, it was an eeveelution, but now she saw which one it was. It was an Umbreon! She called out weakly, for she didn't have a ton of energy. Her burn was untreated and she hadn't found much food except a few berries that were half-frozen from the frost.
"H-hello?" she stuttered wearily.

It was faint, and helpless, and Dusk wasn't even sure what she had heard at first. But then she realized it was the Blitzle, weak and calling for help. "Just hold on!" Dusk yelled, trying to make sure the Blitzle could hear her. "I'll be there really, really soon!"

The reply was faint. Everything blurred, and got silent. Levinia's front legs buckled beneath her, and she fell in a limp lump on the snow. Uggg, she was so tired. She could've fallen asleep in an iinstant if it wasn't for her growling stomach constantly reminding her to eat.

(Hey, just to remind you Rosie, I replied in our Adventure Time roleplay)
"Are you okay?" Dusk called, urging her legs to move faster. Faster, faster, but the only thing her brain said was to eat and then sleep. She was almost frozen because of how cold her paws were, but a Pokemon in need was definitely more important.
After a few more minutes of running, she was finally able to reach Blitzle. "H-hey! Are you alright?" She could hear that the zebra was still breathing, which was a good sign. But if Dusk was feeling exhausted in the snow, this injured Blitzle probably feels way worse. "Come on, we should probably look for shelter so I can look at your leg... Can you stand on your own?"

(Okay)
Levinia gazed up at the Umbreon and mumbled, "Y-yes, I t-think so..." She stumbled upwards, swaying a minute back and forth, and shook her head. "Okay...I should be good..."
Levinia tried to convince herself, but she knew she would collapse yet again if shelter was never found.

"Glad you were able to get up, but you don't seem very steady," Dusk said, concerned. "By the way, my name's Dusk... what's yours?" A strong gust of wind blew through, and Dusk had a bit of trouble keeping her paws on the ground. "We'd better try to find shelter..."

"I-I'm L-Levinia." she stuttered, blinking rapidly. "Yes, I think I saw a small cave over there," she added, throwing a head in the general direction.

"Nice to meet you, Levinia! I would keep this conversation going, but now doesn't seem like the ideal time to talk. Let's get to the cave." Dusk walked close to the side of Levinia's injured leg. "You can lean on me if you think your leg will give out."

"Thanks, but I can see you're just as tired. I think I can manage." she replied, wincing. She kept on, staying strong. The snow whipped at her face, quickly becoming more intense. They had a long snowstorm creeping upon them.

"Thanks, all right then, but I'm still here if you need me..." Dusk was happy and grateful that her new friend was considerate of her feelings, but she didn't want the poor Blitzle straining herself. Snow was beginning to swirl around them, and it wasn't peaceful and powdery snow either. "I think a blizzard's forming.."

"Yes," she continued, nodding, "I was just beginning to think that myself." The snow's rate rapidly increased. Chills shocked her spine, giving her a new energy. "So, may I ask, just to keep my mind off this storm, how'd you happen upon this place?"
